Jean JolleyJean Hall Jolley, 94, of Bridgeport passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, at her home.
– Born November 9, 1929 – Died April 15, 2024.

Jean is survived by her son, Jack H. Jolley (Laura); grandson, A. Cole Jolley (Hailey); great grandson, Vincent H. Jolley and great granddaughter, Helen L. Jolley; sisters, Betty Smith (David), and Susie Smith (Don); sister-in-laws, Carolyn Hall (Billy) and Emily Hall (Cobb), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Jack F. Jolley; her son, Steven F. Jolley; her parents, John Allison and Lois Lovelady Hall; sisters, Dottie Blake (Gene) and Jewel Barham (Charles), as well as her brothers, William “Billy” Hall (Carolyn) and Cobb Hall (Emily).

Jean was a graduate from Bridgeport High School, Bridgeport, AL, Class of 1947.

Jean and Jack were married December 19, 1948, in Bridgeport, AL. She was an avid baker of southern cooking, pastries and desserts. She loved sharing her recipes with family and friends.

She was a long time member of Chattanooga Valley Church of Christ and later Doran’s Cove Church of Christ, Bridgeport, AL.

Graveside Services will be held Sunday, April 21, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Rocky Springs Cemetery, 1934 County Road 206, Bridgeport, AL.
Friends and family are invited to The Amber House, Stevenson, AL immediately following the Graveside Service for food and fellowship.

Pallbearers are John Hall, Mike Hall, Shawn Henson, Chad Reed, Clinton Thomas and Rhett Smith.

The family wants to thank the Sand Mountain Caregivers, Nona Kilgore and the ladies with Blue Violet Home Care & Community Services, Jasper, TN, as well as the Amedisys Hospice of Huntsville, AL for their loving care of Jean over the past several years.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Big Oak Ranch, attn: Business Office, 250 Jake Mintz Road, Gadsden, AL 35905, www.bigoak.org.
