Jan Thigpen White, 65, of Rogersville, died Saturday, Nov. 05, 2016 at her residence. She was a retired bus driver for Anderson Junior High, Mars Hill preschool director, Rogersville campus, and a member of Rogersville Church of Christ. Jan was a loving wife, mother and nanny.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Rogersville Church of Christ. Funeral service will be Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the church with Alex Bayes and Larry Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Rogersville Funeral Home Cemetery.
Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Geraldine Thigpen. She is survived by her husband, Terry White; children, Allen (Cyndi) White, Eric (Megan) White, and Jeremy White; grandchildren, Josh, Allie, Devan, Jaiden, Alec, Tara and Taylor; siblings, Delora Painter, Connie (Tony) Thornton, Ricky (Cindy) Thigpen, and Steve (Teresa) Thigpen; numerous nieces and nephews.
