James Michael White, 57, of Fruithurst, Alabama passed away peacefully at his home. He is preceded in death by his mother Carol White and his father Johnny White. He is survived by his four sisters, Sharon Thornton, Kay McWhorter, Susan Wyatt and Wendy Brooks. He is also survived by seven nieces, Kelsey White, Patience Maltass, Modesty Ray, Bethany Duke, Mackenzie Thornton, Rivers Thornton, Sarah Sams and two nephews Johnathon Brooks and Matthew Wyatt. He is survived by several grand nieces and nephews as well. Coming from a big family, he was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
Michael enjoyed living in the country and working out in his yard. He also enjoyed hanging out with his best friend John Pannell. They were always listening to southern rock. Especially Lynyrd Skynyrd. Michael was the type of man who would give you the shirt off his back and the last dime in his pocket if you needed it. He didn’t have much but he loved what he had. He did construction work for several years and would say he was best at laying brick. He was a simple kind of man. He was loved and will be dearly missed.
“Oh, take your time, don’t live too fast
Troubles will come and they will pass”
——Lynyrd Skynyrd
