Jack Boerstler, 89, passed away on October 11, 2023. His loving heart left a beacon of light for all of his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his better half, Vera.
Jack is survived by his brother, Ernie; and children, Darrell, Tammy, and Dean (Connie). He was a proud Papa to four grandchildren, Darrell Jr., John, Cassandra, and Corey; and three great-grandchildren, Autumn, Summer, and Derek.
Jack was a hard-working man throughout his life. In high school, he was known as small, blond, handsome, active in sports, easy to get along with, a neat dancer, and drove a 1934 Plymouth Convertible. He truly loved his dog.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Zion Lutheran Church, 613 Locust St., Johnstown, PA, 15901.
