Mrs. Ida Doylene “Dodie” Marquard age 82, of Rainsville, Alabama passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at her residence. Dodie was a registered nurse for many years.
Mrs. Marquard is survived by her sons, Eric William Marquard (Christie) and Matthew John Marquard (Amberly); sister, Vivian Dickerson; grandchildren, Samuel Paul Marquard, William Anthony Marquard, Daly Whitney Marquard, Atalie Tyndale Marquard, Whitney Lind Marquard, Nathanael Liam Marquard and Elias Walker Marquard.
She was a devoted wife to her predeceased husband, Paul Whitney Marquard. She was also preceded in death by her parents, William Floyd Hooper and Ida Florence Gentle; sister, Billie Hall and brother, Floyd Hooper.
The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Speers officiating. The burial will follow in Aspel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
