Homer Franklin Perkins, Jr., 91, of Madison, AL, passed away on August 18th, 2023, at his residence. He was born on January 26th, 1932, in Port Arthur, Texas, to Homer, Sr. and Uella Christian Perkins.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years Lillian Hall Perkins; children Carrie Perkins James (Robert), Franklin Hall Perkins (Cindy), Gregg Perkins (Georgia), Lisa Perkins Denly (Dave), and Beth Perkins Ethridge (Ralph); eighteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; brother Dennis Gene Perkins (Ann); and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Perkins is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and two brothers-in-law.
The graveside service will be Saturday, August 19th, 2023, at Roselawn Cemetery, at 1:00 p.m.
Mr. Perkins was a carpenter, accountant, and a preacher. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and he loved his family.
