Glynda Hampton Jones, age 78, Bear Creek, Al. passed away Friday November 30, 2012. She was a member of Bear Creek No. 1 Baptist Church. Her visitation will be Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 1:00-3:00 PM with her service at 3:00 PM at Pinkard Funeral Home with Richard Crumpton and Kirk Cagle officating, burial to follow at Bear Creek No. 1 Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, George Jones of Bear Creek, Alabama; Daughters, Kathy Cummings of Cullman, Alabama and Sandra Cantrell and husband Ben of Athens Alabama; Grandchildren, Alicia Cantrell Lynch and husband Jon of Harvest, Alabama and Lt. Mike Cantrell and wife Randi of Jacksonville, Florida; Great Grandsons, William Russell Lynch and Wyatt Raymond Lynch; Brother, David Hampton and wife Toni of Cottondale, Alabama; Sisters, Martha Schuh and husband Jim of Plover, Wisconsin and Mary Thrasher and husband Larry of Cullman, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl C. and Delma Pike Hampton; Daughter, Rebecca Ann Cummings; Brother, Clyde Hampton.
