Gary Dale Keeton, 67, died Monday, August 16, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Itawamba County, MS and was a factory worker. He was a member of Fairview Holy Church of Christ.
Services will be Thursday, August 19, 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Kevin Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife – Marsha Rogers Keeton; two children – Damion D. Keeton and Kim Carpenter (Gary); five grandchildren – Samantha Steele (Daniel), Austin Carpenter, Ashelyn Keeton, Avery Keeton and Caysen Keeton; three great-grandchildren– Luke, Ella and Cole Steele; eighteen nieces and nephews; a host of great-nieces and great-nephews; one brother – Billy Keeton (Barbara) and his caregiver – Tracy Taylor Carnathan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hester and Monie Lu Farris Keeton, one grandson, Zack Carpenter and four brothers, Vernon, Jackie, Richard and Leburn Keeton (Sharon).
Pallbearers will be Damion Keeton, Austin Carpenter, Gary Carpenter, Barry Rogers, Brody Rogers and Tom Rogers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Keeton and Caysen Keeton.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 18, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
