Franklin Mayes, age 84 of Boaz passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital.
There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. Monday, September 16, 2024 at Forrest Home Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 at the funeral home.
He is survived by his daughter; Christina Hutt (Chris), son; Phillip Mayes, grandchildren; Gavin Hutt, Drake Hutt, Livi Hutt, Kyla Mayes and Ledger Mayes, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Gaynell Mayes, parents; William and Grace Mayes, brothers; Beaman and Johnny Mayes and sisters; Rena Sampson and Alva Gardner.
