Eva-Polly-Hughes-1442765789Eva (Polly) Crabtree Hughes of Pulaski passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at NHC Healthcare in Pulaski. She was born in Kedron, Tennessee on October 26, 1921 and was 93 years old. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Polly was a member of Second Street Church of Christ, retired from Genesco, loved the mountains, working in her yard and refinishing furniture.
Visitation will be on Monday, September 21st from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow on Tuesday, September 22nd at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Jenkins officiating.
Burial will take place in Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial donations are suggested to Second Street Church of Christ Building Fund, P O Box 35, Pulaski, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hughes, Son Jerry Hughes, siblings, F A Crabtree, Stokley Crabtree, Ola C. Hughes, Rosie Gooch, and Dosie Hughes.
She is survived by her,
Son, Terry (Royce) Hughes of Pulaski, Tn.
Son, Pat (Cindy) Hughes of Murfreesboro, Tn.
Daughter-in-law, Gayle Hughes of Nashville, Tn.
Granddaughter, Tancy Hughes of Pulaski, Tn.
Grandson, Troy (Andrea) Hughes of Pulaski, Tn.
Granddaughter, Lisa (Tim) Dean of Cookeville, Tn.
Granddaughter, Kathy (John) Way of Duncan, S.C.
Granddaughter, Emily (Luke) Wolfe of Franklin, Tn.
Granddaughter, Debbie (Neil) Helton of McMinnville, Tn.
Granddaughter, April (Paul) Mongold of Murfreesboro, Tn.
Granddaughter, Caren (Kevin) Davis of Murfreesboro, Tn.
19 great grandchildren, several nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends also survive.
