Elizabeth Ann Smith, 94, of Harvest, formerly of Madison, passed away Friday. Mrs. Smith was born in Nashville, TN to the late Lucian (Boots) Willoughby and Laura (Dolly) Wright Willoughby. She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Lawrence Warner Willoughby; and, Gene, her husband of 61 years.
Mrs. Smith graduated from David Lipscomb High School in 1948 and attended a junior college in Nashville. She met Gene Thomas Smith at Russell Street Church of Christ, and they were married on June 8, 1951. She was a homemaker and loving mother to her five children. She was a member of the Madison Church of Christ and loved her many church friends. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family. She lived in Madison with her husband and five children.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her children, Kim Smith (Teresa), Karen Smith Whiteley (Raymond), Kevin Smith (Martie), Keith Smith (Johnnie) and Kelly Smith; ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:00pm on Friday, January 26th, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm in the chapel. Burial will be at Faith Memorial Park in Madison.
