Dorothy Garner, 83, of Rogersville passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 at ECM Hospital. She was a member of Corum Chapel Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 3, from 6-8 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel with David Mason and Mike Poff officiating. Burial will follow in Barkley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby James, James Kirby, Marty Mosley, Steve Parker, Leslie Kelley and Jason Kelley; honorary pallbearers, Jackson Parker, Chase Kirby and Jase Kelley.
Mrs. Garner was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Davis and W.H. Garner; parents, John & Edna Garner; step-mother, Irene Garner; sister, Gladys Davis; and brother, Villard Garner. She is survived by her daughters, Linda James, Judy (David) Mason and Nancy (Les) Kelley; grandchildren, Carol (James) Kirby, Bobby (Tracey) James, Amy (Marty) Mosley, Melissa (Steve) Parker, Leslie Kelley and Jason (Alesha) Kelley; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Millard Garner and Jimmy (Helen) Garner; sister, Nell (James) Robbins; step-sister, Betty Corum and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was a special mother, grandmother and great grandmother who we loved and will greatly miss.
