A Celebration of Life service for Dorothy Frances Tucker Wilbanks, 80 of Walnut, MS, will be June 29, 2024 at 5:00 P M at Reaves Methodist Church (110 Church Lane Middleton, TN). A private graveside service for the family will follow. Visitation will be from 3:00 P M until service time at Reaves Methodist Church. Rev. Jonathan Wilbanks Rev. Tim Dixon will officiate the service. Mrs. Wilbanks passed from this life on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 5:25 P M at Magnolia Regional Hospital. She was born June 21, 1943 in Middleton, TN to the late U.T. “Bill” Tucker and Willie Mynatt Tucker. She attended Middleton High School and received her certificate in Home Economics in Nashville. She was a sewing machine operator for many years. Dorothy married Bobby Joe Wilbanks July 20, 1960. They went on to have 3 childen. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting, gardening and spending time with her family. She is survived by 2 daughters, Sherilyn Wardlow (Johnny) and Tanya Roberson (Eric); 1 sister, Debbie Frost (John Giles); 2 brothers, David Tucker (Peggy) and Richard Tucker (Vicky); 4 grandchilden, Billy Carter (Nicole), Brandy Luna (Jeremy), Timothy Hopper and Hanna Jones (Clint); 2 great grandchildren, Zadie Gaillard (Rob) and Preston Luna; 1 great great-grandchild, Kinsley Gaillard and expecting 1 great great-grandson, Grayson Gaillard; 1 daughter-in-law, Paula Wilbanks Devore; a brother-in-law, Harold Holder; a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, U.T. and Willie Tucker; her husband, Bobby Joe Wilbanks: a son, Michael Wilbanks; 2 sisters, Rebecca Applegate and Betty Holder. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Dorothy Wilbanks.
