Doris Nell Smith, age 84, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN and retired from Modine Manufacturing. She enjoyed cooking for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, loved crocheting, liked to garden, and mowing her own yard .
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Malinda Crews; her brothers, Paul David Crews and Ricky Glenn Crews.
She is survived by one son, Jeff Smith (Kristi) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Deb Daniels (Greg) of Lawrenceburg, TN; her grandchildren, Alli Willis (Nathan), Jessie DerryBerry (Cole), Crews Smith (Maggie), Hayden Smith (Maggie Perry), Cassie Kolesar (Brandon), Cole Sisk (Katie), Carly Carrington (Chris), Jake Clark (Carli), Wes Daniels (Holly), Will Daniels; and twenty great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, March 7, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Friday, March 7, 2025, with Bobby Gobble officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Lawrenceburg.
