Donald Bruce Richards, age 79, of Fort Myers, Florida went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Shepherd’s Cove in Albertville, Alabama. Don was born November 11, 1944 in Oxford, Alabama. He was the son of Bruce and Emogene Richards. He was a lifelong educator and administrator. Political science and civic duty were lifelong passions.
Don is survived by a loving family which includes Carol Richards, daughters, Beth Leigeber (Danny) and Emily Miller (Blaine); grandchildren, Erin Phillips, Will Miller, Jacob Leigeber and Emma Miller.
No services are planned at this time.
