Funeral for David Richard Binkley, 54, of Decatur will be Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with Reverend Richie Thompson officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Binkley, who died Sunday, June 19, 2016, at his residence, was born Friday, Aug. 4, 1961, to Jerry Binkley and Sarah Josephine Warren. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He enjoyed radio broadcasting, West Morgan football, umpiring softball and watching NASCAR. He was also a grill master.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Binkley; two sons, David Paul Binkley and Robert Warren “Robby” Binkley; daughter, Brandie Binkley Holt; father, Jerry (Carolyn) Binkley; mother, Sarah (Quinnon) Warren; three brothers, Paul Binkley, Michael “Mikey” Binkley and James “Jimmy” Binkley; sister, Michelle “Bambi” Belmont; and three grandchildren, Melanie Paige Holt, Ethan David Binkley and Brody Kent Holt
Pallbearers will be Dicky Branum, Dwight Garrison, Chris Morgan, Jeff Bradford, Shawn Buckner, Lynn Patterson and Marlon Waters
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Men’s ministry of Trinity Baptist Church.
