Dana Marie Tanner, 46, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at her home. She was born September 23, 1978, to Daniel Oren and Hilda Pearson Tanner, Jr. She graduated from Tremont High School in 1997. She attended Jordan Hill Church of God of Prophecy in Dennis. She worked at Bancorp South in Tupelo for 15 years, and then at Steele’s Dive until it closed. She was presently working at Golden Manufacturing. She loved Auburn football, doing arts and crafts, and going to the beach. She was a wonderful mother, a caring and loving daughter, and a great sister and friend. She was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her, and she will be missed dearly.
Services will be at noon on Friday, April 4, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Donnie Wooten officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Survivors include her mother, Hilda Pearson Tanner of Golden; four daughters, Ciara Bramlett (Jeremy) of Mooreville, Jailyn Cavett (William Woodall) of Tupelo, Amiah Cavett and Tanner Cavett, both of Golden; one grandson, Adonis Woodall of Tupelo; one sister, Barbara Sims of Golden; one brother, Daniel Tanner (Summer) of Golden; a special nephew, Davin Tanner; a host of other nieces, nephews, and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her father; and one grandchild, Arieanna Mosley.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Tanner, Kevin Pounds, Pearson Tanner, Dustin Kelton, Davin Tanner, and Jessica Young.
Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
