Charlotte Faye Bragwell, 76, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, April 9th, at Hospice Family Care of Huntsville. After a hard-fought battle, she transitioned to her eternal Heavenly home, where she is now free from pain and sorrow.
Loving the Lord first, she spread a wealth of unconditional love amongst her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family members and friends.
Charlotte, who had a true servant’s heart, enjoyed going to work at Parker’s Merchandise in Russellville, where customers quickly became friends. An animal lover, she leaves behind her three beloved pets, Maggie, Daisy and Duke. She was a longtime member of New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where her Christian faith radiated as she sang and played piano.
She leaves behind a cherished daughter, Charmyn Malone (Tim), son, Charles “Chuck” Simmons, Jr., grandchildren: Kendra Oliver, Caleb Oliver (Samantha), Chaney Simmons, and Haley Simmons, great-grandchildren: Brinley Higgins, Kendan Higgins, Everleigh Mae Simmons, Weston Simmons, Asher Simmons, Grayson Simmons, and Raylee Peden, two sisters: Dianne Holland and Bonnie Williams (Gary). She was preceded in death by her parents, JT Harris and Mary Lee Duncan Harris.
The family extends a sincere “thank you” to Dr. George Evans and staff for all of the love, support, and care shown to her during this difficult season.
