Charlene Horn, age 84 of Lebanon, passed away on November 30, 2024. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Kevin White and Brother Roy Crutcher, is 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2024 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Conatser Cemetery will follow the service. Pallbearers: Jimmy Flatt Jr., Jordon Chaffin, Justin Chaffin, Riley Barrett, Ricky Schelfo, and Zackary Chaffin. Honorary Pallbearer: Linda Groom. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from noon until the service at 2 p.m.
Charlene Horn was born in Lebanon TN to Thelma Y. Bates Crutcher and Charles W. Crutcher. Charlene was a strong woman with a desire for beauty and a gift to serve others. She loved reading and writing poetry, becoming the best version of herself and encouraging that trait in others. Charlene was devoted to her family, but the grandchildren had a special place in her heart. Faith, and cigarettes, kept her going through tough times and sustained her through everything else. She was a long-time member of Berea Church of Christ.
Charlene is survived by her children: Ricky (Barb) Jennings, Andrea (Perry) Wilke, Joe Scarpaci, and Jimmy (Rachell) Chaffin; 14 grandchildren: Jennifer Gregory, Rickie Schelfo, Nicole Flatt, Jimmy Flatt Jr., Brittany (Charlie) Draper, Joseph Scarpaci, Jordon (Hallie) Chaffin, Justin (Mary Ellen) Chaffin, Jalyn Celine (Lawrence) Lane, Jamey (Brenden) Miskovsky, Jacob (Maleah) White, Gage Ferguson, Zackary Lee, and Kanoa LaShay; 22 great-grandchildren: 3 great-great grandchildren; and siblings: Roy (Jeanie) Crutcher and Diane (Mike) Hughes. She is preceded in death by parents Charles and Thelma Crutcher and sister-in-law Gayle Crutcher.
