Carol Butler Harris, age 71, of Russellville, passed away on Monday,
February 6, 2023.
Carol was a Christian and a member of Russellville United Methodist Church. She taught English and Spanish before retiring with the Lawrence County Board of Education. Carol was a member of the United Methodist Women, Phi Mu Sorority and the Cow Bells.
She is survived by her loving husband, John Wyatt Harris V, son, Peyton Butler Harris, sister, Diane Graves, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, John Wyatt Harris VI, parents, Jessie and Marian Butler, sister, Maxine Clardy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 6pm-8pm at Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 1pm at Russellville United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Harris Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Randy Cooper, Todd Graves, Rob Richey, Patrick Daniels, Bobby Stanford and Jason Goodwin.
