Brenda Kay Wells, age 70 of Cowan, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at her home. She was born in McAlester, Oklahoma on March 20, 1953, to the late Eull Wardell and Virginia Lou (Weddle) Hudgins. Although she was petite in stature, she was the pillar of strength for her family that she loved unconditionally. She was feisty, driven, joyful, generous, and resilient. Raised in Texas as an only child she met the love of her life during her Naval service. They moved all over the country during his Marine Corps career. Eventually, they settled down in Tennessee where she co-owned and operated the successful Sovereign Title and Insurance in Winchester before retiring in 2020. She found all her joy in her beloved husband, children, and grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Guerry Wells; children, Heather Wells, and Wyndi (Jarrod) Duke; grandchildren, Alayna Duke, Austin Duke, Tori Whitemore, Ryder Duke, Grace Duke, Jaxon Duke, and a great-grandson, Atticus Sullivan.
