Bonnie Lois  Stricklin Garner, Waynesboro, TN Bonnie Lois Stricklin Garner was born September 12, 1924, the daughter of the late Bentley Stricklin and Nannie Holder Stricklin. She was united in marriage to Curtis Garner on May 31, 1945 and he preceded her in death on February 26, 1997. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waynesboro. Mrs. Garner departed this life on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 96 Years, 6 Months, 27 Days.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Harris and husband, Phillip of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, Matthew Harris of Waynesboro, TN, Bethany (Harris) Muston and husband, Adam of Florence, AL, Samantha Johnson Woodard and husband, Allen of Pulaski, TN, Ginger Johnson of Loretto, TN, and Tyler Johnson of Loretto,TN; great-grandchildren, Dean and Meagan Drauch, Kenzie ,Kayla and Brook Cecere and Shania Harris; brother, James (Jim) Stricklin and wife, Betty of Clifton, TN; sisters, Betty Lou McGee of Irvington KY and Kathleen Godwin of Adamsville,TN.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter Pam Tucker and sister Francis Conway.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM at First United Methodist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Anthony Muston and Adam Rush officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting the family.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Waynesboro, TN.

Due to Covid-19, if you are attending the visitation or the services, wear a face covering and practice physical distancing.
