Funeral arrangements for Mr. Bobby James Brown, age 91, will be held Monday April 7, 2025, at 2PM, in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home with Mike Kemper Officiating, burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Monday April 7, 2025, in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home from 11AM until service time.
Mr. Brown a US Navy Veteran passed away at his home in Trenton, TN on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
Mr. Brown was a member of the First Baptist Church in Trenton, TN. Mr. Brown retired from ITT at Milan, TN, he also farmed during his time at ITT and after retirement as well. Mr. Brown was a member of the Trenton Masonic Lodge for 65 years.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, James Mallard and Bernice McFarland Brown; a twin sister Betty Brown and sister Faye Crosslin.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife Joyce Hooper Brown; Debbie and husband Danny Burress, all of Trenton, TN; a sister Katie Sue Raper of Jackson, TN; and two brothers Ray and wife Linda Brown and Kenneth Brown, both of Gibson Wells, TN.
