Mr. Billy Ray Fitts, age 63, of McMinnville, TN, died Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at his residence. He was born October 09, 1960, in McMinnville, TN, was a rural mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service, also worked at Wal-Mart, was a member of Centertown Church of Christ, and was preceded in death by his father Jesse Newton Fitts.
Survivors include his mother Mary Josephine Fitts, brothers Jesse R. (Brenda) Fitts and Robert (Betty) Fitts, and sister Carol Fitts Woodard, special nephew Ricky Fitts, and several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Unity Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
