Betty Alice Aycock Travis was born April 28, 1940 in Weaver, Alabama to Lewis Lang Aycock and Alice Benton Tipton Aycock. Mrs. Travis died December 24, 2019 at her residence. She loved Gardening, Needle Work and the Atlanta Braves. Mrs. Travis is survived by her husband, Clayton Travis, Daughter Alice Pugh (Rodney) by 8 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and by one son William Allen “Pete” Petty. Arrangements are being handled by Valhalla Funeral Home with visitation on Saturday, December 28, from 10 – 11 am, with the funeral service to follow at 11 in Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Rob Peavy will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
