Audrey Rainey McCaghren of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at her residence.There will be a graveside service on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Moulton Memorial Gardens with Dr. Steven Chandler officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
She was born on September 25, 1924 in Lawrence County. She was a member of Aldridge Grove Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle A. “Tick” McCaghren and daughter, Sherry McCaghren Russell; five brothers; two sisters and a beloved pet and companion, “Buttons.”
She is survived by her daughter, Patsy McCaghren of Decatur; son-in-law, Roy Russell of Madison; a special friend, Wyn Dobbs of Pensacola, Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was a wonderful cook, gardener, homemaker and avid reader.
