It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of my beloved wife, Andrea Ava Rivera on January 4th, 2025, at the age of 68.
Born on September 23, 1956, Andrea grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She met the love of her life, George Rivera, in middle school, and they were married for 49 years.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and her kindness and love touched everyone who knew her. She had a warm smile and a gentle spirit that radiated love and compassion.
Andrea loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for family gatherings. Her kindness, compassion, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother and 5 sisters.
Andrea is survived by her husband, George, her children George, Andrea, Juan, Angel, and her 7 grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Rivera will be held on Friday, January 10th, 5-7pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th, 1pm, at BerryHill Funeral Home.
Andrea will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Rest in peace, our dear wife and mother.
