Mr. A. Bruce Gifford, age 87 of Skyline, Alabama passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, while surrounded by his loving family. He was retired from the City of Scottsboro working in the street department for most of his career.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Bro. Blake Gifford, and Bro. Ray Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Skyline Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ruth Gifford; one son, Timothy (Chandra) Gifford; four daughters, Debbie Gifford, Tammie (Daryl) Stephens, Annette (Keith) Sutton, Stephanie (Chris) Wynn; seven grandchildren, Amanda (Clint) Shelton, Jonathan (Jessica) Baugh, Hayley (Dale) Prince, Cedric Stephens, Dexter (Kirsten) Gifford, Dallas (Candace) Wynn, Dawson Wynn; 13 great-grands, He loved his great-grands so much; 3 sisters, Glenda (Dale) Parker, Betty (Michael) Morris, Jane (Larry) Knight; 4 brothers, Kenneth (Christine), Eddie (Kathy), Benny and Stevie Gifford; 1 sister in-laws, Ann Gifford; one brother in-law, Tommy Farmer; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Boggus and Bobbie Gifford; 2 sisters, Linda Farmer and Eloise Posey; 3 brothers, Curtis, Issac, Cecil; and one son in-law, Henry Baugh; sister in-law Shelia Gifford.
