Jimmy Bucy, lifelong farmer in the Birmingham Ridge area and “Bucy Bottom” departed this life from his family home on the Ridge in the early morning hours of Thursday, April 23, 2026 after a long period of declining health.
A Mass will be held at 1 PM Monday, April 27, 2026 at St. James Catholic Church with Father Tim Murphy and Father Henry Shelton as co communicants. Visitation will be from 2 PM-4 PM Sunday at Holland Funeral Directors and from Noon until service time on Monday at St. James Catholic Church
Burial will follow in Saltillo Cemetery.
