Willie Joe Childers, 75, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026 at his residence. He was born in Ripley, MS, and worked as a heavy equipment operator for Itawamba County.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 5 P.M. at Ridge Cemetery, Golden, MS. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by one brother, Keith Childers (Anita); one sister, Joy Childers; one sister-in-law, Geraldine Childers; nieces and nephews Dawn Rogers (Shaun), Amber Bohannon (Nathan), Kayla Gunnels (Brian), Brad Childers (Amanda), Kirk Childers (Katie) and Katy McGee (Kevin); Special great niece and nephew, Kailee Rogers Gore (Tyler) and Konnor Rogers and a host of great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by his father Willie Childers; mother Bernice Childers Orrick; a brother, Dennis Childers and nephew Michael Childers.
