Jane Bormann passed away on March 25, 2026 at age 77 after battling Dementia. She was born to Paul and Miriam Humbert in Queens, New York on July 31, 1948. She was the oldest of five children: Nancy, Miriam, Paul Jr. and Regina. During her high school years, the family relocated to Long Island where she attended Seton Hall High School and later Molloy Catholic College for Women. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as a floor nurse, a Surgical Intensive Care Nurse and an Operating Room Nurse at Brookhaven Hospital.
She leaves behind John Bormann, her husband of 55 years, two children John Jr. and Jennifer Gleason as well as 4 grandchildren Ben, Addison Gleason and Cody and Dylan Bormann.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and playing golf, but most of all enjoyed her family.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 3:00PM at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Father Tom John officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at the funeral home Wednesday.
