Jerry Reeves age 84 of Sulligent, AL passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026 at his residence.
Born August 11, 1941 in Sulligent, AL, he is the Son of the late Paul Jones and Alice Belle Jackson Reeves and the husband of Patricia Birmingham Reeves. He had lived in the Military Grove Community most of his life. He was a 1959 graduate of Sulligent High School and retired from Reltoc at the age of 50. His hobbies were reading and studying the bible, rewinding electric motors, gardening, and country dancing. Jerry was a member of the Oak Hill Fellowship Church where he played the piano for over thirty years.
He is survived by his: Wife: Patricia Birmingham Reeves, Daughter: Lisa (Tommy) Pate, Step-Daughter: Vicki (Joey) Froelich, Grandsons: Tyler (Megan) Turner, Caleb (Alexis) Turner, Granddaughters: Lesley (Nicholas) Phelps, Elizebeth Orcutt and Victoria Orcutt, Step-Grandson Sawyer Froelich, Step Granddaughter: Katy-Mack Froelich, four Great Granddaughters, three Great Grandsons with one due in May. Two Brothers: Carl (Sibyl) Reeves, and Brock (Barbara) Reeves and two Sisters: Polly Mixon, and Barbara Nolen.
He was preceded in death by his Parents: Paul and Alice Jackson Reeves, Daughter: Watana Orcutt, Brother: Jimmy Paul Reeves, and Step-Granddaughters, Megan Webb and Maggie Webb.
The family held Memorial Services Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 3:30 pm from the Oak Hill Fellowship Church with Bro, Caleb Turner and Wesley Sudduth officiating. Burial was in the Holiday Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Enhabit Hospice for their help in caring for Jerry.
