Patsy “Pat” Fay Taylor, age 80, of Hackleburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at her residence.
Pat loved collecting roosters, sunflowers, eating at good restaurants, but more than anything, she loved family gatherings. She had the biggest heart of anyone, a true servant’s heart, and was a great cook. She always made time for all of the neighborhood children, and she wanted to take care of everyone. We shared a sister bond like no other and she was our always our rock. She will be missed by all who know and love her.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her sisters, Betty Quinn (Butch), Brenda McRae (Terry), and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Campbell; parents, William Johnny & Eascie (Robinson) Taylor; sisters, Avis Louise Van-Tilburg, Clara Henderson, Ruby Newell; brother, L.Z. Taylor; and nephew, Bobby Burleson.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mike Vice officiating the service. The burial will be at Cedar Tree Cemetery in Hackleburg.
The pallbearers will be Shawn Lindsey, Chris Cleveland, Chris Fincher, David Cantrell, Brad Nichols, and Wayne Fincher.
