John Laney McAnally, age 76, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, January 07, 20226 at Helen Keller Hospital.
Laney was a carpenter by trade, and he always wanted to help others. He was a dedicated son and brother. He loved his family and friends.
Service is not scheduled at this time.
He is survived by his sister, Wanda Downey (Tim); niece, Denese DesRuisseaux (William); nephew, Shane Proctor (Jean); great-niece and nephew, Bailey Bevels (Brian), Dustin Proctor (Marie); and one great-great nephew and niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Betty Jean (Allen) McAnally.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of the Helen Keller 3rd and 4th floor, Dr. Aaron Karr, and the staff of Alabama Hospice of the Shoals for your love and care of our family.
