Jimmie Vincent Ceasar  Jimmie Vincent Ceasar, 77, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Collinsville Health and Rehab. He was born February 5, 1948 in Louisiana to the late Joseph Ceasar and Mary Fontenot Ceasar. Jimmie attended Mossville High School in Westlake, Louisiana and graduated with a BA in Business Administration and a minor in Economics from Jarvis Christian College. He worked for Brach’s and later Ashley Furniture. He was an avid runner before his accident after which he took up walking daily. He loved football.

Being remembered for his strong call to protect and provide, he leaves a lasting memory of care as he saw best for his family. As “Papa” has gone on to meet the Lord, may he be remembered for his drive and ambition towards excellence.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Walter Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. hour of service.

He is survived by his daughter, Jacqueline Barham and husband, Gary, and son, Douglas Ceasar; grandchildren, Pierce and wife Kara, McKenzie, Brooke and husband Miguel, Sidney, and Lauren Barham; sister Laura Semien and husband Lernest; brother Curtis Ceasar; brother-in-law, Walter Watson and wife, Doris; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ethel Watson Ceasar, brothers McKinley, Rodney, Norris, and Nelson Ceasar, and sisters Lillian Matthews and Delores Hall.

Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
