Frank Moody Stevenson Jr., 78, of Huntsville, passed away on December 17, 2025, following a brief illness. Born in Birmingham, AL on July 29, 1947, to Frank Moody Stevenson and Evelyn Lewis Stevenson, he attended Birmingham City schools.

The family moved to Huntsville in 1959 where Mr. Stevenson attended Huntsville City schools, graduating from Huntsville High School in 1966. He graduated from Birmingham Southern College in 1970. Following college graduation, he attended graduate school at Emory University, Chandler School of Theology, Atlanta, GA. Mr. Stevenson resided in Atlanta for over 28 years, returning to Huntsville in 2005. While in Atlanta, he worked extensively in broadcasting and market research.

Survivors include his brother, Edward Lewis Stevenson (Betsy) of Huntsville; nephews, Bryant Lewis Stevenson (Maryam) and their children, Graham and Sara, of Birmingham; and Blake Edward Stevenson (Julie) and their children, Hugh, Luke, and Ellie, of Huntsville.

Mr. Stevenson was a man of faith, who loved the Bible and spent much time studying the book of Genesis, the Gospel of John, and the Epistle to the Romans.

A graveside service will be Monday, December 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or Paralyzed Veterans of America.
