Betty Jean Adams, age 71, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, at her home.
She was born December 21, 1953, in Marshall County, Tennessee, to the late Glen Adams and Doris Blackwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son George Adams; grandson Austin Adams; sisters, Connie Adams and Mildred Foster.
She is survived by her daughter, Shelia Linley of Lewisburg and two sons, Toby (Kim) Adams of Lewisburg and Troy Adams; sisters, Patricia (Billy) Callahan of Lewisburg and Annie Lou Darnell of Lewisburg; eight grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
She enjoyed watching the news channel and keeping up with current events, often making it a part of her daily routine. Soap operas were another favorite pastime, as she delighted in following the stories and characters, sometimes discussing the latest episodes with friends and family. However, nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her beloved grandbabies. Their laughter and energy filled her days with happiness, and she cherished every moment she could share with them, whether it was playing games, reading stories, or simply enjoying their company.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home and Crematory, 324 W. Church St., Lewisburg, TN, on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Whorley Cemetery.
