Mr. Clovis Randle Camper, age 78, passed away early Thursday, December 4, 2025, in Decaturville. He was born January 24, 1947 in Decatur County to the late Clovis and Alda Powers Camper. “Ran” enjoyed playing country music records and was able to do many wonderful things, despite his disability.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Patsy Heath; his niece, Andrea Harrington Rogers; and special friend, Patricia Blackburn Tucker. Survivors include his four brothers, Daniel and Carolyn Camper of Lexington, Terry and the late Deborah Camper of Scotts Hill, Nickey and Betty Camper of Bath Springs, and Bengie Camper of Scotts Hill; two sisters, Sandra Harrington of Scotts Hill and Pamela Scott of Olive Branch, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM, Saturday, December 6, 2025, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Judson Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, 3 – 9 PM and on Saturday, 9 – 11 AM.
