Dorcas Moore Bradford, age 83, of Decatur, Alabama, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Shelton Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the Parlor.
She was born October 21, 1942 in Alabama to Lloyd and Mabel Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James “Mickey” Bradford; and her sister, Connie Bowen.
She is survived by her son, Scott Bradford (wife-Pat); grandson, Matt Bradford (wife-Tina); four great grandchildren, Elijah, Lukas, Ruthie, and Ester Bradford.
She retired from NASA as a launch coordinator. She had a love for reading, traveling, sewing and watching College football.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Scott Matthews and his staff for their excellent care of their loved one.
