Darla Sue Rayfield Smith, 65, resident of Lawrenceburg, died Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at her residence.

Darla was born on January 23, 1960 in Lawrence County, TN to the late J.D. Rayfield and the late Gloria Luker Rayfield. She was a devoted mother and MeMaw who loved her family. To know Darla was to know love.
Survivors include her daughters, Shawna (Chris) Smith, Michelle Smith-Hughes, Brandy Smith; grandchildren, Susie Roberson, Summer (Jesse) Pacheco, Sadie Smith, Skyler (Meranda) Serrett, Thera Serrett, Cody Serrett, Coby Serrett, Hunter Serrett, Austin Serrett, Makenna, Serrett, Ashton McNabb, Adelyn McNabb, Jakob Allen, Aubree Allen; sixteen great grandchildren; siblings, Jeff (Donna) Rayfield, Pamela (Bill) Rayfield, Tony (Pam) Rayfield, Sammy Rayfield, Eric (Christine) Rayfield; several uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Darla is preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal Smith Serrett.
