Paul Stanley Shew, age 78, of Webster’s Chapel, Alabama, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025. He was born on April 13, 1947.
Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Shew; his mother, Nellie Vise Shew; and his father, John M. Shew. Brothers Billy Shew, Claude Shew, and Clyde Shew
He is survived by his children: Blake Shew (Christie Shew), Beth Stovall, Barry Williams, and Molly Waddell (Caleb Waddell). He was a proud grandfather to Dylan Stevenson, Caleb Shew, Robert Stovall, Ashley Gragg, Tyler Morris, Jonah Waddell, John Mark Waddell, Hannah Waddell, and Noah Waddell, and a loving great-grandfather to nine great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at the Webster’s Chapel Community Center, located next to the Webster’s Chapel Volunteer Fire Department, 1552 A.P. Hollingsworth Road, Webster’s Chapel, Alabama.
Paul will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
