William “Bill” Castle, born on August 29, 1942 passed away peacefully on Wednesday. August 27, 2025. Bill was a very loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 10-11 a.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Bro. John Brock and Bro. Seth Hood will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
He was a member of First Baptist Church Colbert Heights. Bill was a member of the PGA since 1981.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Debbie Castle; sons, Danny (Gentry) Castle and David (Tonia) Castle; daughter, Laura (Rodney) Bryant; grandchildren, Brittany (Coty) Johnson, Alexis (Jacob) Tucker, Kyla Castle, Kaylee (Hunter) Bryant, Austin Castle, Dakota Castle, Mason Bryant, and Dominick Castle; six great grandchildren; brother, Charlie Castle, and sister, Ruth Sanders.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Coe Castle, and brother-in-law, Jim Sanders.
Pallbearers will be Danny Castle, David Castle, Austin Castle, Dakota Castle, Mason Bryant, and Hunter Bryant.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Heart Association.
