Marinelle Daniel Workman, age 89, of Athens, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, August 8th, 2025. Born on December 27th, 1935, in Fairfax County, Georgia, she was the daughter of William Joseph Daniel and Janie Leulla Bryant Daniel.
Mrs. Workman is lovingly remembered by her family, including her son Melvin Workman and his wife Vicki. She leaves behind grandchildren: Wendy Turpen (Terry), Shely Smith (Chad), Daniel Workman (Angela), Chris Workman (Bridgette), Kim Christian (Michael), and Adam Workman (Katherine); ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Martha Workman. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Workman was preceded in death by her husband Dan Workman, and son, Danny Workman.
A graveside service to honor the life of Mrs. Workman will be held on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Huntsville Memory Gardens. The service will be officiated by Buc Chumbley.
