Mr. Donald L. Olinger, age 81, of Skyline, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025. He was retired from the Scottsboro Electric Power Board.
Donald is survived by his son, Kenny (Laura) Olinger; grandsons, Nathan (Madison) Olinger, and Daniel Olinger; sister, Iris Evans; brother, Ollie Olinger, Jr.; several nieces and nephews; special friend Diane Hastings.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Olinger; parents, Ollie Sr. and Ola Olinger; brother, Jerry Olinger.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Mickey Skipper officiating. Burial will follow in the Skyline Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 4th, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
