With his loving family by his side, Glendon Rich Easter passed away peacefully at his home and went to be with his Lord early Wednesday morning. Mr. Easter was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Effie Legg Easter of Athens. Sisters, Edith Easter Thornton, Barbara Easter Barnette and Marjorie Easter and brother, Torrance Easter. Grandson, Christopher Easter. Mr. Easter was born September 9, 1936 in Limestone County, retired from Monsanto and a member of O’Neal church of Christ. Survivors include his Wife Glenda Easter, Sons, Michael Glenn Easter and Wife, Marilyn. Randy Easter and Wife, Jenny. David Lynn Easter and wife, Connie. Grandchildren, Nicholas Easter, Lindsey Easter Scott and Husband, Dustine. Joshua Easter and Wife, Lauren. Christopher Easter ( Deceased) and Wife, Crystal. Joel Easter and Wife, Holly. Sarah Easter Little and Husband, Cody. Laura Easter Romero and Husband Stevie. Dr. Jessica Easter. Breanna Easter. Tarah Lankster and Husband, Trey. Brandy Bolton. Great Grandchildren, Audrey Easter, Addison Easter, Alayna Easter, Hallie Scott, Tyler Scott, Briley Scott, Isaiah Scott, Madison Easter, Elijah Easter, William Easter, Michael Easter, Christian Easter, Christine Easter, Jude Easter, Amos Easter, Shepard Easter, Mary Easter, Ellie Easter, Jessie Easter, Evie Easter, Archie Easter, Mackenzie Powers and Levi Powers. Great Great Granddaughter, Gracelyn Powers. Services will be 2 pm Sunday in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home with Daniel Tucker and Guy McDaniel officiating, burial to follow at Dement Cemetery. Visitation Saturday from 5 pm – 8pm at O’Neal church of Christ. Pallbearers will be Joel Easter, Christian Easter, Nicholas Easter, Josh Easter, Stevie Romero and Cody Little. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Williams, David Barnette, Tommy Smith, Jimmy Moss and Glenn Pressnell. Donations may be made to, Hospice of Limestone County.
