Kenneth Lee Shackelford, 43 of Joppa, passed away Wednesday July 23, 2025 at his residence. He was born June 23, 1982 in Morgan County, Alabama, the son of Allen Shackelford and Sherry Green Shackelford.
Kenneth is survived by his wife: April Holmes Shackelford; three sons: Gabe Fortner (Madyson), Jaydon Allred (Jordan), Coby Shackelford; three daughters: Savanah Burwell (Austin), Kileigh Shackelford and Emily Shackelford; five grandchildren: Allora, Isabelle, Matthew, Joshua and Kinsley; his mother: Sherry Clifton and a sister: Tammy Lamons; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Allen Shackelford and a brother: Danny Wayne Lamons.
Funeral Service will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday July 29, 2025 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church with Brother Bruce Harris, officiating, burial will be in New Jerusalem Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Gabe Fortner, Jaydon Allred, Coby Shackelford, Gary Swann, Chris Lamons, Roger Duke and Austin Burwell.
Visitation for Kenneth will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday June 28, 2025 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, he will also Lie-In-State at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
