James Edward “Eddie” Ginn, 70, of Somerville, passed away Thursday.
He was preceded in death by father, James William Ginn; mother, Betty Faye Ginn; brothers, David and Stevie and sisters, Reba, Debbie, and Barbara.
He was a kind soul and a loving man. He was a mechanic and drag car racer and builder.
Surviving are daughters, Jennifer (Marty Beason) Ginn, Melissa Ginn, Victoria (Miguel) Alameda, Tiffany (Walter) Pendergrass and Gail (Jason) Lemley; sons, Adam Ginn and Kevin (Tonya) Wilbourn; grandchildren, Jalen, Dalton, Olivia, Michael, Jordan, Ariel, Benjamin, Sylvia, Julia, Layla, Levi, MadeLynn, Marie, Kim and Anita; six great grandchildren, Hunter, Zach, Carson, Bella, Lanie and Brileigh; several nieces and nephews, two brothers, Frankie and Jimmy; one sister, Shirley and several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Friday at 1:00 pm with Bro. Rob Peavy officiating. Pallbearers will be Shawn Chunn, Jason Ginn, Wayne Whorton, Corbin Raines and Hunter and Zach Pugh.
Interment will be in Sneed Cemetery.
