Our Aunt Maxine was tall and beautiful with black hair and blue eyes. In her early life she was a cheerleader for the Phil Campbell Bobcats. After graduating she moved to Huntsville to work at General Shoe where she met and married the love of her life, Charles Fann. He was handsome and charming; they were a perfect match. Life eventually took them to Lawrenceville, Georgia. There she was the office manager for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company until she retired and moved to Elkmont in 1996 for her remaining years. In their spare time Aunt Maxine and Uncle Charles enjoyed co-ed bowling earning many trophies. They looked like movie stars as they glided across the dance floor with their smooth moves. We will always remember her as beautiful inside and out.

Mrs. Fann was a dedicated member of the Northside Church of Christ for 25 years, where she was known for her unwavering faith and commitment to her community.
Maxine M. Fann will be remembered for her generous spirit and the love she shared with everyone around her. Her legacy of kindness and faith will continue to inspire all who knew her.
