James Brady Sims Jr., 85, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away Saturday.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Lena Sims; children, Jack, Preston and Jeanie; parents, James Brady and Birdie Sims and siblings, Paul and Robert Sims and Shirley Watts.
Surviving are two sons, Steven Wayne (Jana) Sims and Roger (Tiny) Orndorff; two brothers, Kenneth (Carolyn) Sims and Eugene (Susie) Sims; four sisters, Lucille Meeks, Peggy Sue Graham, Martha (George) Bailey, and Ella Mae Mullican; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday at 2:00 pm with Bro. Wayne Walls officiating.
Interment will be in Moon Cemetery.
