  Jason Bryan Osburn, age 38, of Toney, Alabama, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home  on July 5, 2025.
Jason was born on September 24, 1986, to Barry Dale Osburn and Charlotte Ann Adcox Osburn.
Jason graduated from Westminster Christian Academy in 2005 and later from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He served in the United States’ Navy from 2009 through 2015 and achieved the rank of ET-3. He served as a Nuclear Electronics Technician onboard the U.S.S. Enterprise. He was honorably discharged. After the military and graduation, Jason worked with SAIC as a government contractor to protect, preserve, and defend our country.
Jason was an incredibly intelligent individual. He was an honest and good man. He enjoyed working on cars and racing them. He built multiple computers from scratch. He loved all video games and would spend most of his time playing games with friends. He loved Magic: The Gathering card games, anime, and his family.
He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Bobby Osburn and Bernice Williams Osburn; and his maternal grandparents, Bryan C. Adcox and Ida Lee Benefield Adcox. He is survived by his parents, Barry and Charlotte Osburn; his younger brother and his wife, Jared Osburn and Ashley Gulley Osburn; and his favorite little sister, Julie McClendon.
Service will be held at Spry Funeral Home in Athens, Alabama, on July 8, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. He will be laid to rest at his family plot in Gurley Cemetery.
